About Lead Member
Mayank started Management Advisors And Resource Group- MAARG in December 2021. MAARG is actively working in 34 States/UTs and in 4000 plus urban local bodies of India.
He developed and executed a national strategy that resulted in MAARG becoming the leading professional services organization and resource group in the country.
Prior to his current role, he provided consultancy and technical support to various Ministries of GoI, State Governments, International Agencies, Civil Society Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations, Financial Institutions, Academic Institutions and leading private companies.
Over the course of his career, he has been recognized by numerous organizations for his leadership, technical support and commitment to societal impact. In 2019, he was recognized by the SKOCH Group as ‘SKOCH Award Governance Gold’ for Portal on Affordable Credit and Interest Subvention Access (PAiSA portal). In 2013, Save the Children, UK , recognized him with Champion for Children Award in honour of his outstanding contribution in Child Development. In 2006, he was awarded the Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Shikshavid (Academician) Award by Anokha Viswas, Indore, Madhya Pradesh in recognition of his academic leadership. Additionally, in 2005, he was awarded Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar National Fellowship Award by Bhartiya Dalit Sahitya Academy, New Delhi and Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Teacher Award- 2005 of Indian Ancient Archaeological & Cultural Service Society, Chandrapur (Maharashtra) for his contribution towards social development.
In addition to MAARG, he is also associated with Society of Social Networking for Education, Health & Agriculture, SNEHA Foundation, SNEHA India Corporation, Indian Crime Control Organisation, National Association of Professional Social Workers, Maharashtra Social Work Educators Management & Staff Forum and Global Forum for Sustainable Rural Development.
Mayank was born and raised in Asansol, West Bengal. He is native from Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his professional qualifications from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Visva- Bharti University, Santiniketan, M.Phil in Social Work from RTM Nagpur University and also qualified UGC- National Eligibility Test for Lectureship in Social Work. He is married with a son and a daughter.
